Information for Authors/Speakers

Revised Papers Due:
15 December 2003
Final Camera-ready Papers Due: 15 January 2004
(Papers will not be published if not received by the due date)

 REQUIRED INFORMATION AND FORMS

1) Instructions for All Authors
Authors have to submit a revised version of their paper on
15 December 2003 to the chair of the session where the paper will be presented. The chair will check that the comments provided by the reviewers' have been incorporated in the revised text and that the revised paper follows the formatting rules. The chair will get back to you directly in case there are additional changes that need to be made. The author will iterate on this with the chair until the chair approves the final version of your paper. The name and email address of the session chair will be announced via email. The author's paper will appear in the proceedings, if your chair has accepted the camera-ready paper, the copyright form has been submitted, and one of the paper's authors has registered for NOMS 2004. The deadline for submitting the final camera ready paper to the session chair is 15 January 2004.

2) Camera-Ready Paper Instruction for Technical Session Authors
It is very important that you pay close attention to the format. Especially, do not produce text, formulas or figures outside of the main text area. This will render the paper unacceptable and therefore cannot be printed. Please remember that the length of your paper is limited to 14 pages for full papers and 2 pages for poster papers. Figures should be in black and white, limited use of grey-scale. If figures are in color avoid yellow, light blue & green, these will not reproduce in black and white. Use the following guideline and sample files to prepare the camera-ready version.

3) Camera-Ready Paper Instruction for Application Session Authors
The final camera-ready paper format for the Application Session is the same as the submission format. That is, it should consist of visuals with explanatory text accompanying each one. The length of your paper is limited to 14 pages for full papers and 2 pages for poster papers.

4) Copyright Release Form (PDF, Word)
     (Must be filled out and signed)

5) Registration (PDF, Word)
At least one author from each paper must register by 15 January 2004. One registration cannot be used for more than one paper registration.

 

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

1) Send 1 hard copy by courier of the camera-ready paper and signed
     copyright release  form by
15 January 2004
